Saint Andrew's mission statement is integral to who we are. Our mission statement is:
WELCOME All people of faith and community in Jesus Christ, inviting and celebrating a rich diversity of members.
CELEBRATE God's presence in our lives.
GROW In our experience and understanding of God's grace and God's purpose for our lives.
REACH Out with compassion to those in need, especially those who have not heard the gospel of Jesus Christ.

St. Andrew's extends a special invitation to those who presently have no church home. We hope you will visit us. New members are received at intervals throughout the year. If interested in becoming a member, please call Pastor George Gilbertson or Pastor Megan Crouch at 218-326-8508. We celebrate eucharist on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month. All who believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are welcome at the Lord's Table. Children are welcome to receive communion starting at age four, or as their parents see fit.

We are known in the community for many ministries. Pastor George has been involved in hospice outreach for many years and previously served as the Hospice Chaplain. On Christmas Eve, we have three worship services which include live nativity with animals, special music, and candlelight. We have sponsored a weekly divorce support group that has been there to assist countless individuals through the years. We also have a grief and loss support group. We are involved in special missions which range from local organizations to caring for others across the globe. We share God's grace through baptisms, weddings, and funerals and show concern to the community that extends beyond our membership. We are a member church of Voyageurs Lutheran Ministry which includes Camp Hiawatha and Camp Vermillion.

Our Sunday School is for children from age 4 through high school. There are regularly scheduled activities for youth of all ages. Confirmation is a two year process beginning in 8th grade and completed in the spring of their 9th grade year. We have a Youth Forum for grades 10-12. Our Adult Forum offers a variety of topics throughout the year. St Andrew's has periodic special topic series led by Pastor Megan for people of all levels of Bible literacy to explore their faith. Feel free to join us at our Men's Bible Study which meets every Wednesday at 7:00 am at Forest Lake Restaurant or the Women's Bible Study which meets Wednesdays at 5:15 pm in Pastor Megan's office.
