St. Andrew’s Health and Wellness Ministry has a varied agenda which includes several health education areas.

Healing Prayers are offered on the third Sunday of each month during church services.  Healing prayers are individual prayers given to anyone wishing a prayer for themselves or for someone else.  They are available during communion or privately following the service if requested.

Care Notes for adults, teens and children are always available on a variety of topics free of charge.  These brochures are located on a literature rack in the Fellowship Hall.

First Aid Kits and St. Andrew’s AED are available if needed and checked periodically for needs.  The AED is on the shelf above the coat rack near the church office.

The Health and Wellness Ministry sponsors Educational Scholarships each Spring.  Congregational members who are high school graduates or are currently graduating may apply.  These scholarships are made available through donations and fundraisers.  Click here for link to online application.  St. Andrew’s scholarships were awarded June 4, 2017 for students furthering their post-high school education.  The following 6 church members each received $250.00: Jacob Grandia, Carolan Janssen, MacKenzie Kooda, Kary Sheppard, Abigail Teff and Anita Williams.  Congratulations to the six 2017 recipients.  We ask that you uplift all of the applicants in your prayers as they were all truly deserving.
Current Scholarship applications are due APRIL 1, 2018.

This Ministry remains available for Health Teaching/Information per request and is always open to suggestions.  Please stop by the Health and Wellness bulletin board in the hallway on the way to the Education Wing of the church building.  It is updated frequently with information concerning your health, wellness and wholeness.
