St. Andrew's Preschool

Additional activities might include special guests, science experiences, field trips, puppets, service projects, cooking, and Christian celebrations

Special attention will be paid to teaching Christian values. Stories, songs, and other activities will focus on love, caring, sharing, respect, trust, self-esteem, and helping others.

Monday/Wednesday/Friday Group
Classes are held from 8:30 - 11:30 am. This group is for children who are 4 years old by September 1 of the enrollment year and are eligible for Kindergarten the following year. Special attention is given to Kindergarten readiness skills. Lead teacher is Kelly Olsen. Maximum group size is 16 children.

Tuesday/Thursday Group
Classes are held from 8:30 - 11:30 am. This group is for children who are 3 years old by September 1 of the enrollment year and are toilet trained. Special attention is given to working on social skills. Lead teacher is Kristi Erdman. Maximum group size is 16 children.

Caring and Qualified Staff
Kristi Erdman has over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education including teaching preschool, directing child care centers, and training of child care teachers. Kelly Olsen has over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education including teaching preschool and a substitute teacher. Colleen Casey has over 5 years experience in working with preschool children. A parent advisory board helps to guide the program in long range planning, fund raising, and public relations. Parents are encouraged to volunteer in the program.

St. Andrew's Preschool is owned by St. Andrew's Lutheran Church and licensed through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
